Our Team
Dr. Chun attended UC San Diego during her
undergraduate work and completed her degree in Biology
at La Sierra University. She obtained her DDS from the
Loma Linda School of Dentistry in 2003. Her love for
children dentistry began during a summer dental mission
where she experienced underprivileged children unable to
receive dental treatment because of financial reasons or
simply the unavailability of dentists. Soon after
graduation she joined a local dental office as a
children general dentist. Since then she has worked on
thousands of children. Her love for children does not
end at the dental office but carries into the community
where she performs free examinations and procedures for
the underprivileged. Her experience and training in both
cosmetics and children dentistry gives her the
confidence to diagnose the proper treatment for her
children patients. Anybody who has ever met Dr. Chun
will always tell you that she laughs big and smiles
easily. She is always approachable and professional when
it comes to your children. Thanks to patients like
you, she has been recognized as “Inland Empire’s
Favorite Dentist” and “Inland Empire’s Top
Dentist.” “First of all, thank you moms and
dads for visiting our website. In 2007, my little Andrew
was born. He really changed my life and changed how I
see children. Children are always honest. They are
always playful. Children are very smart! They remember
the little things you do for them. They know when you
are genuinely being nice to them or just faking it.
Whenever my son thinks my husband is not being honest
with him, he tells my husband, "you're faking me dad!" You cannot work with
children if you don’t genuinely like working with
children, they will figure you out.” “My associates
and I work hard together to make sure our level of care
is consistent at all of our offices. We share best
practices in patient care and patient management.”

Dr. Kevin is a graduate of University of California Riverside with a B.A. in
Psychology and Minor in Neuroscience. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine
from the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After dental
school, he was accepted into UCLA affiliated VA Medical Center for one year
training in Advanced General Practice. Dr. Kevin loves to interact with his
children patients. “Every child deserves the best possible care in a warm and
friendly environment. I encourage parents to ask questions during the visit.
It’s your child and you should try to understand as much as you can about your
child’s oral health. With awesome children patients and proper parent education,
I believe this combination will lead to a good oral hygiene well into
adulthood.” When he is not seeing patients he enjoys taking spin classes,
kayaking, and running in his free time.

“It’s the cute things that kids say that
make my job Fun. I’m also a parent so I
understand how hard it can be to find someone
you trust with your children. We try and make
the experience good for the children as well as
for the parents. During my free time, I love
dancing and singing."
Alyssa is a Certified Dental Assistant. As a
mother of two, she understands how stressful
visiting the dentist can be for the parents and
the child. She makes sure she treats our
children patients the way she would want her
child to be treated. “I love working with
children because every child is unique. They
allow me to be myself, fun and silly!”
“I have a little daughter and she cracks
me up. I love working with kids because they are
so much fun. The candid funny faces they make or
their honest comments keep you on your toes. The
complete satisfaction that you get from helping
a child is amazing and the connection you make
with parents is great. When I can finally pull
myself away from work I just like to relax and
hang out with the family.”
Stephanie Melzer, is a Registered Dental Assistant. Stephanie is the mother of two and treats every child like her own. She loves kids and relates very well to other moms. Her kind and calming disposition makes everyone feel at ease. She is certified in pit & fissure sealants, radiation safety, and coronal polishing. Her goal is to focus on the kids & making their dental experience something they will learn to look forward to and even enjoy.
“Comforting an anxious child makes my heart smile. They are so honest & innocent. My job is very rewarding! In my free time I enjoy having my friends & family over for BBQ and a swim”.
Laura Marcial, Certified Dental Assistant.
Laura’s dedication to children begins at home
where she has plenty of nieces and nephews that
adore her. She really does relate to the little
ones as she has a natural affinity for making
kids feel comfortable. To relax Laura loves to
read and spend time with her large family.
“As a parent of three, I know how
stressful it can be taking your children to the
doctors. Because I know this it is very
rewarding to see parents happy with the decision
they made bringing their children to our office.
It’s satisfying to give parents a sense of
security that we are taking care of their
children as if they were our own. When I’m not
busy at the office, I enjoy watching movies with
my little girls and husband.”
